dc.description.abstractRocks exposed in the lower part of wadi Esh Shallalah (Jordan ) consist of oil shale .its mineral constituents can be sudivided in to two parts, carbonates and non-carbonates. casbonates show negatove correlation coefficient with all other components except with Mn. the non-carbonates consists of organic matter and mainly of the minerales ; quartz koalinite , phosphates , pyrits and minor illite . these minerals are more related to each other than to varbonates.
