Abstract: The Present study attempts to evaluate the water quality of the major springs in wadi Shu'eib catchment area for irrigation and domestic purposes . the chemical composition of these springd are rather varied , reflecting the geological character of the lower and upper creataceous sediments. this study is based on the results of the chemical analysis of 22 springs issue from different aquifers in the study area generally the water type of the major springs in the study area belongs completely to the HCO3 group with prevails calcium.
