Abstract: This paper is a preliminary attempt to specify and estimate sectoral production functions for three commodity sectors of the jordanian economy : agriculture , industry and construction depending on the availability of data on capital stock and labor expenditures . using the cobb-douglas function three proudction functions for the three sectores are estimated itis assumed that real ouput in each sectore is afunction of capital stock and real labore services another from of the production function incorporates time variables as a proxy for disembodied technical change (D.T.c) in addition to the tow variables : capital and labor.
