Abstract: Table tennis is afast game it requires some recording device to analysis both the body and the ball movements the purpose of this study is to examin the nine learning technical points which provide the basis of all stroke play . ahigh speed cine camera was used to examine these nine learning points for both the forhand and the topspin strokes for eight players of different age and technical experince from different countries one of the findings of this study showed that in some cases players bat contacted the ball at the peak of the bounce and in other cases the ball was contacted in a later stage . in addition to this recommendations were made for further study on larger samples .
