Abstract: Ramadan fasting - induced changes in lipid and carbohydrate metabolism were investigated in a group of 17 male college students. fasting blood samples were taken on the first day of ramadan and day 28. analyzes were performed foe cholestrol. trigycerides (TG) , high -density lipoprotion cholestrol (HDL) low-density lipoprotein (LCD) , very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL ) and glucose . on day 28 cholestrol (P< 0.001 ) .
