Abstract: The present paper , parallel to a pervious study which researched jordanian bank managers , investigates patterns of motivation and job satisfaction among a sample of 207 jordanian managers in manufacturing , sevices and insurance inducstries in the private sector in Jordan . it also assesses the impact of key social , managerial and organization factors on manager's motivation and job satisfaction and comapres the findings with the parallel study and relevant international research . The finding reveal that patterns of Jordanian business manager's motivation and job satisfaction are similar to manager's in developed countries . that is to say manager's highest concern with security and structure and pay and comfort.
